On my old car, I used a locking gate latch to secure my box in. Worked pretty well I think.

naw not true.. for instance theres a few people in my neighborhood who seemingly enjoy breaking car windows for no reason. if the kids knew i had a system theyd probably love to get there hands on it but some people lack the capacity to even do things like break wood, etc.
i definitely believe security screws are a good step.

they are just jackasses though, they are not thieves. if they were after your system they would have it. they just seem to not like you or whoever they mess with.
