Safely Remove?

I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a funeral. This is all last moment and I need room in my car for alot of luggage, so I need to remove my 2 JL 12W6 and 1000/1 amp. Do I just unconnect everything with the car off? I'm sorry for such newbie questions, but I am. Are there safety concerns with leaving those wires unattached to anything during the trip? Please help, needed very badly. Thanks

Take the fuse out of the holder under the hood and I usually wrap the end of the power wire in electrical tape to be on the extra safe side.

unscrew the fuse holder...im guessing thats the type you have with the circular fuse..dunno what its called though...but you unscrew it..take out the fuse then just put the wires back in w/o it

Do you have a camera? Can you take pictures of your engine compartment then? That will help us tell you how to take it apart.

Is it a ANL fuse like does it look flat? or is this fuse rounded and long?

Alright it's just a regular fuse man ok see how on the left hand side of that fuse holder you see thread's unscrew that side of the holder then pull the fuse out make sure you tape each side of the power wire with electrical safe so it won't touch anything put your fuse and fuse holder in your glove box or something and you should be good.
