its certainly fine by the ground wire, but you may want to run it on the opposite side of any signal carrying wire, such as RCAs and speaker wire, as they could pick up distortion from the power cable.

Unless you're using really crappy wiring this is completely urban myth.

My interconnects are not only run alongside my power cable feeding from the battery but they're zip-tied to it.

Absolutely zero inducted noise interferes with my audio. If it isn't coming from the HU the speakers don't play it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
