so i finshed my install today, mach5SPL12 on a AQ2200D, but i just remembered i only have 4 gauge wires =(, it HITS HARD but the gain is turned up all the way, subsonic at 35hz and the LPF at 80, i was just wondering if it would be alright to have the amp gain up all the way until my new wires come so i can give the amp the right amount of power, if you know what i mean =)

gain all the way up = bad, unless you don't turn your HU above 1/4 volume(depending on HU voltage).

alright i geuss ill leave it at 1/2 until i get the wires just to be on the safe side, what will be the outcome if it is up all the way, i know it wont be good though haha just curious "blownamp?"

why not set it with a dmm instead of guessing.

Last thing you want to do is overdrive your amp when your under supplying it power :/
