Sa8v.2 aero port size(straight to the point)

Running 2 sa 8s on a ia10.1. Going in my Silverado crew cab my first box came out ****** and I know I can do better work so rebuilding it. Will probably have 2 separate chambers with amp rack in the middle. I am doing a seat lift also and porting box to the side doors. My question is what size aeros I searched and some said 2in some said 3in.

I ran mine with 2" aero's if I remember right. It was extremely long, more like a T-line enclosure though. Looking back, I don't think I had enough port area, haha

Go with 3" I built one exactly like the one you're building, with 2 chambers, and the 2" doesn't give you enough port area.

I will be 2 ports they shouldn't have been that long.

I would use a 3 inch aero for the SA8s, it will probably need to be quite long but I would rather have to deal with a long port than hear port noise or kill output.

Side port front fire. Used 2 DD 1508's. Thumps man.

They won't be. Had to go with 17" with 37hz tuning

Will tune around 33hz looking to hit some lows and sound good.

It's calling for a 20in port for 34hz didn't design box yet but hopefully I can fit it. Also on the website it said keep it a port diameters length away for side walls does it mean the flare diameter or actual tube?

I went 1" away from the wall with no issues. To go 20" you'll need to put a bend in it or have it stick out of the box.

How would I meause that? Like with the 90

Bend the tape through the center of the bend for length.
