SA X-18 ported - 7 cubes @ 32hz

What do you guys think about this enclosure? It's dead on 7 cubes net airspace tuned to 32hz. Four 6" pvc ports would end up with 113" of port area which is lower than recommended but I think should be ok. They would be staggered with two ports on each side of the box.

Extended cab sierra, I'm taking out the rear seat and building a seat around the box. Fort Walton is in between Panama City and Pensacola

I think to much port. When I used aero ports 9port per ft was the sweet spot and your all the way up to 16port per ft

I'm all ears for how I could do that and still have the needed port area and tuning.. that would be impossible with four 6" ports

I always suggest starting out bigger.

Recommended port area on the Sundown site is 112" and this setup has 113"....

I know that 16 is high but the x-18 has a 30mil xmax and i'm not using a flared aeroport.

I agree with Hertz Mafia. He ran 4 of those same subs for a short time.

2 factors that affect port are.

Displacement and tuning frequency. Thats it my friend.
