I believe production is a copper coil D4 and S4 but he has aluminum 8 layer flat winds for these in D2 I believe that should be available once he gets all the SA models into production.

Where does the weight stand? About 18lbs? Also, are these suitable in small ported enclosures?

They will like smaller ported boxes and lower tuning.

This is what we had looked at on the pre-sale (ordering is not open yet).


1x SA-8 = $119

2x SA-8 = $109 each

4x or more SA-8 = $99 each

Shipped in continental 48 states cost.

I don't have the ETA yet... once production / pre-ordering starts I will post it.

They will be rated 400 RMS... keep your eyes out for testing soon.

Just a guess, these might like around 1 - 1.25 cubic feet a piece tuned awround 33, obviously higher tuning would mean more SPL.

Nah... the dot is not perfectly centered so it looks like it's jumping around.

Right towards the end of the video I also pushed the 1500D farther than I should have so we got a bit of noise when the cone was tapping where the leads go up to attach to the terminals.
