SA-12 or L7?

Which ones the best buy for $200? Im gettin one of them for now a second one eventually. I plan on buying an amp for about $200 an the best one i could find was the Hifconics Brutus BRZ1700.1D Mono Amp so if somebody had any other suggestions i would appreciate them im looking at about a $400 budget cheaper if possible.

Im mainly trying to get the best bang for my buck in a 2001 Mustang which has a small trunk. Im not sure bout the electrical and all that man kinda new to all this

sa-12 and theres a kicker 2500.1 in the classifieds for like 450 or less which is better than that hifonics bruh

Lol that kicker 2500.1 is too big, he couldnt fit 2 ported 12s in a stang i dont think. Ide go with the sundown sa12, an obsidian 12, or a FI SSD 12. all about 2 bills. Find a 1500watt amp thats mbquarts, memphis, kicker, sundown, mmats, DD, or somthing that dosnt suck

Plus his buget is 400 total not just for an amp

Plus dude ure not considering the box, thats going to run you 150-200 also

If u dont wanna pay the extra 150 ull need for the box after get a SA12 and amp then u could go SSA DCON D2, have pro-rabbit do the box(be amazing), get a mb quarts 800.1, be like 450

Theres a few others that do great boxes on here but i cant remember

Pretty sure he meant that $400 was his ENTIRE budget for sub and amp.

I do agree with the Sundown. Or the Obsidian. And that there are better amps to be had for $200 than that HiFonics

OP... here's what you need to consider...

If you run more than 1.5-2k, you're really going to have to consider making upgrades to your electrical system (new alt, 1/0 wiring/ extra batt, etc) which can add up to a much larger expense. so i would say, look at getting the SA-12, and check an amp like AQ1200 or something similar... and then focus on your enclosure, as that will make a MUCH bigger difference in your final outcome than an extra 500-1000 watts

I would go with the Sundown. You should deffinatly look into the Audiopipe AP-15001D. I'm currently using this amp to power one Power Acoustik MOFO 15. Sa-12 is the better buy. You can get recones, it will drop lower, have better sound, and probably be about as loud as the L7. L7 is spl, not good for music. Sa-12 is sql, perfect for loud music.
