Wow if it is just ripping due to pressure, that *****. I know that the sub is conservatively rated at 600 Watts. I run 2 of them off a Sax-1200D, and mine don't even come close to their mechanical limit. You are running one at 1000 Watts+, if you are at full tilt. Being sealed, I doubt it is reaching the mechanical limit, so either pressure, or it rubbing on something would be the only things I can think of causing a surround to rip.

If I were in your position, I would go ported if you can, and limit the power a bit. You will probably get a boost in output just going sealed, and you won't have to work it as hard.

Ya its just temp for now untill i get my car this week i hope lol plan on getting 2 more going ported but i just wanna know what is going on i am sure its my fault tho i was giving it like 1100 watts then jacob said 400 in that box is enough so i turned the gain down now its around 600 or so im not sure set it 1sta with dmm then it broke so im just guessing now but would even say 800 wich i doubt its that much cause that?
