Have you tried RX forums? You'll have more luck there. I have seen only a few Mazda installs on here and they were in the Mazda 3.

i'm on 2 rx8 forums but i haven't really seen anything for audio which is why i thought i'd ask before making a post there.

btw to the person who told me to get my stuff back. He's in new york and i think he sold it. jerk

I don't know what kind of a budget i specifically have yet. I would have about $100 + a month but i have to pay some medical bills. so right now i'm just getting ideas on what i would need to save up for.

.. ok what are you gearing for more sound quality or SPL ??? BTW anything worth installing and expecting it to sound good the package will run $800-$infinity

i like alot of bass if that helps. I want to hear the music but i want bass

hmm maybe check into audioque http://www.audioque.com some of the best bang for the buck VERY good product and can get really loud you can pick up a couple woofers and amp for less than 800 bucks and you would be very pleased in yor applicarion i would look at the sdc2.5 and a 1200d amp

oh pretty cool! thanks for the advice. Yeah i had my jl's like 3 years ago so i'm not really sure what's popular out there.

theres alot of jl fanboys out there they arent crap by any means but way overpriced for what they are and what the not so mainstream company's offer you wont go wrong with AQ for sure 90% of the people here would concur there are also about 20 other brands that offer great product but a little bit more in price than what you would probably want to pay

what does that have to do with the thread? serious.. she wants to talk audio, not be leghumped/hated by 5000 16 year olds....

at any rate, the audioque suggestion DOES sound like its what you are after, otherwise fi has decent woofers (http://www.ficaraudio.com) me personally, im a huge fan of mach 5 (http://www.mach5audio.com) the ixl line would do you well. or even a single spl 12/15. amps i cant even begin to tell you. sundown is popular, i like rf power amps, so many out there

oh really? I didn't know that. for some reason alot of people out this way like rockford fosgates but i'm not a fan of those at all. i think they blow too easy

is it best to go with an amp that has more watts then a sub itself. such as my jl's were 500 watts a piece and i had a 1200 watt amp is it better to go that high or to stay low?
