runs of 1/0?

hey guys im upgrading my system once again. im getting a dc power 240 amp alternator, 2 sundown saz 1500's, i have an optima red top and a kinetic hc2400. i have the lowest quality wire knukonceptz makes in 1/0. i am going to upgrade to the more expensive stuff for easier install and what not. i have the big 3 done as well. but my question is i hear people say they have 2 runs of 1/0. what does that mean? will i need this?

the type of 1/0 wire doesnt really matter does it aslong as its oxygen free pure copper wire, correct me if im wrong

Some would say different. Some say strand count is important as well, but I don't think there is a difference as long as it is O2 free and copper.

2 runs normally means a run from positive and a run from negative. Grounding your amp directly to the ground on battery is the BEST ground, albeit a little more difficult and more expensive.

where is the cheapest place to get 1/0 and other speaker wire? and strand count may effect something because there is more surface area for electrial signal to travel on but i really doubt that it would be heard or noticed at all

I don't think you'll need 2 runs of 1/0 for 3000-3500wrms. but it def wouldn't hurt either.

i read here that it is slightly smaller in height than 1/0 but idk
