would a nine.1 run a 12" aq hdc3? not lookking to get to loud, looking for a decent balance of sq and spl.

Indeed, will work out fine. What is the coil setup on the HDC? I'm guessing a dual 2 ohm?

I would suggest a Dual 2 ohm to get full power for the amp.
