Running power without an amp

ok i took the inline fuse out and in the middle of traffic the shit cut out on me and i was luckily able to restart right back up so i took the power cable completely off

think it could be my alternator its just my battery died i just starting getting this problem since i removed my amp
Answer the following and I can help you.

What are you getting for voltage at the battery with the car off?

What are you getting for voltaage at the battery with the car running?

If the voltage doesn't go higher when you start the car then it could be your alt.

I recommend checking all of your connections, power, ground, etc... Make sure they aren't loose or anything.
And do this^

the voltage at the battery with the car on and off is the same

know it got problems with deck flicking on and off all this happened since the amp went die on me

ok well im trying to figure the problem if its my alt. i disconnect all the power from screws from the pos. and neg. on my battery ess. dead but the wires on my alt. wire still on and i fiddling around with it still and sparks flew does this mean it still works?

Sounds like your al isn't charging your battery...if it was your voltage should jump up...try that same test on another good running car and youll see what I mean.
