Running power wire in a 03 corolla

I have a 03 corolla, and will be running 0 ga ofc power wire. What is easiest way to run the wire to my trunk. Through the firewall and underneath my carpet or running underneath my car. I haven't seen any rubber grommet in my firewall to run it through. Just looking for the easiest rout.

Well, there's really no easy way....tearing your car apart just to run wire is certainly a task. Some people like to run it underneath the car, while others run it alongside the inside where the factory wiring is. And under the carpet is another ideas, as you said. If you have grooves in your floor like this \_/ run the wire inside that channel, so that when you lay back the carpeting mating and carpet, you wont feel it as much as if it were laid underneath the carpet itself.

I went under the vehicle... I had a way thru the firewall from a previous install but had to run dual runs all the way back... if you do this you might also consider using something to protect the wire... I used garden hose... others use PVC...but a grommet is necessary where it passes thru the metal... if you got one or there is a factory one back there fine, but I used one of these...

In any case it should not be too difficult to run the wire thru the cabin and under the carpet as it's a single 0 ga... if you can't find a factory hole be careful where you make one as firewalls are famous for double walls and accessories/wiring in the way... A tool to use would be something like this....

or this...

just be careful...

Also if you go under the vehicle use common sense... stay away from pinch points or heat sources when running the wire... I know, it's common sense but I've learned that it is necessary to be specific online this week... it's been a heck of a week for me...

If your power/ground wire can fit thru a garden hose, then I'd use it. That's if you plan to route wire underneath the car. Protect it from the harsh elements. Then zip tie along the frame/chassis. Prob a bunch of how to vids on youtube for this.
