I run my 4 runs of 0 gauge right next to each other, no worries. I think you might be thinking of running your RCA's next to your power wires, which can supposedly cause some sort of static interference from stray magnetic fields from the power wire. I have no idea if this is true but that's what I've heard. Run separate power and grounds. I discourage only grounding to the frame.
