Running HU two channels,..double power?

I have a Pioneer 3200 HU rated at 17w per channel and seeing how I am only going to run front speakers (truck so really no need for rear) I was curious as to whether or not I could combine the left rear/front channel and right rear/front channel and double the output to both speakers?

2x 4 ohm coils can be wired parallel to 2 ohms or series to 8 ohms. There's many amps with 2 ohm power you can use.

Thanks for the feedback. It was a long shot but there will definitely be much more powerful subs in the trunk, so clearing it out isn't an option...
