Running a XX-Colossus II, semi-stock electrical?

Could I get away on my stock electrical with the addition of a second battery located in the trunk? I have a 2002 Acura TL-S and the alternator is a 120A, I have not done the big3. I'll be using the Colossus to it's max at 3200 @ 2ohm

If I were in your position I would drop it in and I would do the big 3 with 1/0 awg wire. What battery do you plan on using as a second. Also, what speakers do you plan on using with the amp? It will put some strain on your electrical, but after installing it, work on getting a bigger alt.

edit: I think I need to find a amp that does 2000wrms @ 2ohm to avoid upgrading to a bigger alt, any suggestions? I was looking at a Viper D2500

you won't be able to feed a 2000W RMS amp off a 120 amp alternator. your amp along will need at least 140 amps to run effectively.

200 amp alternators aren't that expensive. I grabbed a 180 amp-er for my truck for less than $200 here:

Get the XX-Colossus, if it's drawing too much current, turn ur gain down. Set it so it runs around 2000watts and it wont be drawing as much current. W/ the 2nd battery and big 3 u should be okay if u watch ur gains.
