Running a lot of equipment in my vehicle, should I use a battery charger?

I've heard a lot about these battery chargers, but now that im running a pretty beefy system does anyone have any ideas about which one I should purchase? I was looking at CTEK's chargers.

Any thoughts on this would be very helpful.

i've read about chargers, but don't really know the whole details about them. one guy had a mechman alt that was set at 13v, 300a, i believe, and the voltage was just too low, and his equipment was in battery saver mode. the charger bucked the system voltage higher, so he could get full power, and better battery mantenance. was news to me. op, what's the details on your system/power supply? if your idea is to try to get more output than your stock alt can provide, i don't think that is going to do it. at all. you still need the current supply.
