Running A H/O altenator and Stock one Question

a yes how would you go about adding a H/O altenator to a stock altenator, would it matter where you put it? like if you replace the stock one with the H/0 one then add the stock one next to it or could i just keep the stock one on and add the H/O next to it? also the dual altenator kits are expensive, do you think you could just fabricate your own braket to mount the 2nd altenator, i mean thats all there is to them right? plus getting a longer belt? also if i added 2 altenators would that be enough to run 2500 rms through 0 gauge wire and a stock battery up front? thanks
