Running 2 SA12s 4ohm

get the dual 4's and run parellel to get a 1 ohm load. the saz1200 should give you the 700 rms each you are looking for at a 1 ohm load. you probably wouldnt be able to hear the difference running the 1200 compared to the 1500 anyway

If you want a final 4 ohm load, d4's. Any particular reason you are limited to four ohms? I have a saz1500v3 on stock alt with the big three in 0/1g at 1 ohm with very liitle light dimmage, and then only at full tilt.

Sorry, I know the 1200 can handle it... I've heard great things about it and I know it can handle more than rated. I think what I was really trying to find out was do you guys think getting the 1500 would be a wiser purchase? I think the 1500 could run them 'easier'.... and doesn't that mean it would last longer?

Looking to buy new, sorry.

I wasn't offering it for sale, just relaying how I have my set-up.
Hahaha ohhh, I thought you meant you had it in stock with light damage xD

I feel silly.

And I have no idea what any of what you said meant, other than the name of the amp, and 1ohm.

I was just stating that you can use the saz1500 for your application, and also asking why you had chosen to run them at only 4ohms. When I first got the saz, I was skeptical to run it below 2ohms, thinking that I did not have the electrical to back it up, I have since learned that this was not the case. If it were me, I would get the saz1500, set the gains properly, it's usually better to have a lil more power than needed as it is easier to avoid clipping, put those subs in a custom ported box, and sit back and enjoy. If you go this route, you will need to get the d4's. Good luck in whatever you decide on. And in case nobody told you, THIS CHIT HERE IS ADDICTIVE.

Thanks for the feedback. It was a long shot but there will definitely be much more powerful subs in the trunk, so clearing it out isn't an option...
