X20,where is a good place to go through the fire wall,i have a mazda 3 ?

Not sure if the Mazda 3 has the same firewall setup as the Mazda 6, hang on let me look for an engine pic.

In the mazda 6's, there is a factory hole / grommet on the driver side if you remove the battery tray, it is right behind there.

I ran it through the frame in my Expy cause i had multiple runs. I didnt even try the interior. But in my F-150 i only had one run and it fit inside the runners.

Looks to be about similar I think, the 3's have more trim panels in the engine, I think one is covering the battery. I have a picture here though, lmk if this is how your engine looks?





The red circle, is that where your battery is? If so, imn my car if you remove the battery and the battery tray, there is a grommet back there that leads through the fire wall right under the driver side dash. when you say this where is that exactly? becuase im going to have 1/0 and then 12ga to all of my door speakers

Haha, well then you should have a grommet behind the battery and tray //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Not 100% positive though, but the 6 and the 3 tend to be quite similar in a lot of aspects, so it's possible //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

ok i got it to work like you said x20. it was a pita. had to peel up all the plastic covering like everything lol. now i just need to find a place to get throuhg my firewall. anyone know where that woudl be on a 97 expy?

Still need help???for 1/0 there are 2 pretty good spots neither requires a drill but 1 spot needs a slight mod to work
