Rumbling heartbeat in subwoofers

there is a rumbling heartbeat in my subwoofers and my amp goes in to protection mode when it is turned on. I am running 3 audiobahn subs wired in a 2.67 ohm load which worked fine with my audiobahn a1600v mono amplifier. What do i do to fix this i have no clue what is going on with my amp. HELP PLEASE!!

What amp, have you checke your ground?

yes i have checked my ground which is giving me 12 volts on my meter that i used

sounds like a ground problem to me, is it more of a hearbeat or a humm in the subs

i had a problem like this with an old memphis amp, and i was told that it was the ground inside of the amp, sounds like the amp took a crap on you

so i should try a new ground place and see if it fixes it if not then my amp is toast?
