hey just starting this thread to find out what are some of the rules of bump like can the police take you car because of your sounds, and what did you do to avoid getting a ticket and or your car taken.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Common sense?

Only listen at full volume on the open highway or rural country roads...turning it down in residential areas and intersections, especially late at night.

The police won't seize your vehicle, though they will write you tickets and be a major inconvienence...so turn it down.

After getting three tickets, the main one being for loud music (why I got stopped in the first place) I one, dont bump it going to school no more and if I do its windows up and after school. At the red lights I turn it down a little less then half way. And if its late at night or early in the morning respect the people that may be sleeping and dont bump at all.

actually some places around chicago can take your car... I was in Des Plaines and a cop threatened to arrest me and sieze my car for "noise pollution". i think he just made up the term, but i think its a newish law in some cities. just don't blast it around cops... its not like someone can call the cops on you and a cop will come to your house and give you a ticket.

about a year ago a guy got stopped for his 5th time for a "noise violation" they didnt take his car but seized his system for 1 year even his freakin H/U but left the Mid/highs. I've got stopped one time for loud music and got a ticket, $216.50. Didnt have to pay it i was 16, two weeks after i got my licence. Now they take you to jail and you have to ost a $100 bail, then pay the $116.50 remaining at city court, thank to our new mayor
