I actually enjoyed the pictures you posted. It may not be the kind of set-up I'd choose but I sure admire the work that someone put into them. We don't see stuff like that here in East Tennessee.

Maybe because a vast majority of this forum doesn't like that whole style? Obviously you are gonna get flamed if a lot of people don't like what you posted. That can hold true for ANYTHING, not just a bunch of cars with 28's and 45 tv's with half-assed installs.

and I think tommy is right, this forum is not for that kind of car audio and the posters and the people uploading the pics should know that by now. Now half-assed is all a matter of taste. True some had bad jobs but others did not.

well u have an extreme car that looks sexy by the way. and i have a daily driver that competes with a baby seat in the back..lol. but then again u have a hatch and i have a trunk car. but u have a golf that whoops azz and i still cant get over the fact that u make re se subs do **** near 150's. thats just not fair...lol i think with ur subs in u can compete in the 140-149 bass race class. but i will make an announcement in this thread later. i just have to wait for some info. so around 8pm check back here.

Theres such a thing as overdoing it, but dont you understand these are show cars and not daily drivers?
I would rather look at pics of this sort than pics of cut up sheets of MDF.
Ive probably posted two informative threads on this forum. How to build a fiberglass enclosure around a MDF box which noone really does even though it takes about half the build time of a conventional fiberglass enclosure since the glass doesnt need much strength thus less buildup. The other was more of a question as to using an actuator to build an adjustable slot port. Neither gathered much interest. Maybe the vast majority of this forum only cares about ugly one note wonderboxes?

*******OK SO MY ANNOUNCMENT IS COMMING ALITTLE EARLIER*********
heres the deal i just got a chit load of cardboard 2nite from my job.
now this carboard is strong and i will use it to make a template of my new box...to see if it can fit in my trunk in one shot...if it does...i will garrantee that i will bass race in the 139.9 class and i will be burping over 140 ...what kind of box...i dont know yet...but it will be alot louder than my current box.
if i dont build this new box that becuz of my partner for life(wife) being the loving woman that she is:help:
other than that i will take my time and will post pix of the build.
and do alot of testing
