So theoretically, i could run 2 rsds with 1000wats @ 1 ohm from the 1206d?

Yes you could. I'd still go for more power if you can afford it.

from what I read over at the PG forum, the RSD 10" has a slightly different motor than the 12" and it cant handle quite as much power. still an ownage sub for the money. you can send a 12" RSD 1400rms daily.

man i've been finding new rsd 12's for $110 shipped easy but it seems like the 10's are harder to find and they pretty much go for about the same price...lol

Why not get yourself one 12" dvc RSd and the Hifonics BXi2006D or MA Audio HK2000D amp?

If it's not enough for you, add a second RSd and wire them for 1 Ohm at the amp (either amp will do about in the 1800Wrms range @ 1 Ohm).

RSd 12's are amazing subs for the $, but the 10's leave something to be desired. They could most likely use a little stiffer suspension.

But, as far as the 12's...give a pair 1000-1200w daily and your will love them. We did 144.x dB at 48hz w/ 2 12's on an mm1000.1d in an ext cab Dodge Ram w/ just an audio enhancer prebuilt kvpr box. (Didnt have time to build a box, just stuck them in the AE box)

Also, we have run pairs of RSd 12's on the RSd1200.1...they had more than enough power w/ that amp.

Oh......

Well, the 12's might take 1800 clean watts...but I wouldn't do it. Just because most stock charging systems will not handle 1800w+.

And yeah... I sure as hell wouldn't do 1800+ Wrms on a stock charging system either.
