Since they are only rated at 60wrms a side. How is the output on the rsd? I'm gonna be running two RSD 12's or two 13 ov.3s' (still deciding) so will they be able to keep up? I also saw someone mention running 150wrms per side??? Sounds kinda high for a 60wrm rating. Any input is appreciated, and i did search //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Mine are seeing 150w a side and they have plenty of output... you might want to check out this review. There are plenty of us who are feeding them 150+ a side.

thanks for the fast responses guys, you have sealed the deal if someone can measure across the tweeter for me. I need to know how big the flush mount cups are to see if i can just directly replace my current one with it.

Spec sheet says cutout diameter = 50.5mm

Spec sheet says outside diameter = 60.5mm

Conversion to inches...

well super cool then. I am gettin dim bishes
Good stuff. Remember to seal and deaden the doors... and give the midbass a week or two to loosen up and it will be a totally different speaker. Good luck with the install.

the doors have about three layers of edead se v1 so they are good and sealed/deadened. Has been done over a year and still stickin like i just put it on. Good stuff, all butyl.

i have my ZX550.2 which can put out 205 per side with the gain set for 150 per side powering mine. i also have the crossover set pretty low(63hz/12db) and they take it just fine. on the rare occasion that i play rap or hip hop i just bump the high pass up to 100hz and set my sub up to 80hz. i don't think playing rap or bass tracks with 150 watts crossed at under 80hz would work out to well, or maybe i'm just being to careful.

the link that was posted for the review was mine. if you don't feel like reading through the whole thing, i have had them for over a month now and still could not be happier with them. they have amazing mid-bass, good midrange, and really detailed but not harsh highs(especially when pointed on-axis). for the price they CANNOT be beat! people have even said they compare to sets that cost hundreds more. personally i have only ever owned 2 sets of comps but can't imagine a set sounding much better.

I get them on wednesday you will get my full review some time before friday. I have used a few pretty high end component sets and have a very discerning ear so we'll see how pleased i really am. One of the nicest sounding sets i have heard to date would be my ADS 6.5" comps and I had almost 300wrms per side going to them. The only thing they were really missing was midbass. I have used almost every speaker in mb quarts line including the q's and old school premiums, reference, and discus sets. I have also used fosgate fanatic q components, and audiobahn garbage, so althought not as experienced as some folks here, you can expect a very good knowledgeable write up from me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

How did you guys mounted your tweeters, close to the mids or far away?

I got a Dodge ram truckl and Im thinking in putting the mids in the oem location right in the middle/ of the door and the tweeters in the sail panels...
