Round Port Area

I am planning out a box for a 12" Fi SSD; it will be 2.2 @ 33Hz. I've been trying to figure out what the best port diameter would be for this box.

Would around 22 sq inches work well? (10 sq inches/cube) Not planning to have any flares on it though, just a straight round port or multiple ports.

I'm asking because this port area calculator is saying I will need a port diameter of 6.95 inches, which seems like a little much (almost 38 sq inches of port area)
