Round Port application

I am looking to use (3) 4" round flare ports for my two Mach 5 Audio 12.2 IXLs. First of all would (2) 4" flares be enough or would (3) be more effective. Next question is if i do use three of them the port length for each will exceed my depth of box, so i would have to curve them. Does direction the curve is matter? I have a picture that may help what im trying to ask. Any input would be great thanks!

you will have to wait for a responce from somone more "in tune" with round ports but from what i know having them going in all different direction is not a good idea

your better off changing port size and or number so they can all be the same length and straight

it goes more on box size, than size of subs. assuming you're around 4 cubes, 2 would work ok. as long as they are actual flared aero's, and not just round pvc.

would subs to trunk with ports to side work well in a trunk car? That way I could get the full length needed.

every car and application is different but the in general rule is that ports firing back towards the trunk is best

more port area the better generally, to a certain point though. with ports, you want them to be at-least a ports diameter away from anything. port direction doest matter, but try to have the ports face away from the woofers as much as possible. 90* from the woofer would be the worst for port noise.
