Roommate Situation...

So I live with 2 other guys in an apartment. One roommate has a gf who occasionally stays the night, maximum 2 nights a week.

Recently the third roommate started having this girl over every night, to make a long story short, a month later, she pretty much lives here. Sleeps here, showers here, eats here, does her laundry here at least 5 nights a week. Odd thing is she is in the middle of a divorce and still has her own place like 5 miles away.

Question is what do we do about rent? Do we keep splitting it 3 ways or split it 4 ways?

Tell your roomate that if they expect their relationship to be on those terms, rent will also apply to her

Maybe do 5 ways. Like if rent is $500/mo, You and the other guy put in 150 each and the other other guy and his GF put in 200. Seems like a good compromise if they're unwilling to do it 4 ways.

First. If she isn't on your lease agreement then she could make you lose your lease all together.

Second. If she is going to become a full time tenant which it sounds like, then she needs to chip in or her bf needs to pay for her.
