You have no idea. No idea at all. Pretty much the opposite of what you said. But honestly, when I'm making four or five times as much as you, with friends and brothers to rely on for the rest of my life, enjoying life, I don't really give a **** what you think.

You've never been in one, and you think you are superior for not being in one. You are going by your own stereotypes and a lack of experience. I've been on both sides. I've met the alumni, I know where I can take myself. I know when I'm at that point myself, I'll help the new guys along, too. That I'll support the house as the previous alumni did and still do. And well, we all know who actually ends up on top in the end. I do have a better chance at a job. I personally know the vice president of Garmin. That's called a connection.

we have this "500 rule" where if a brother calls you and needs serious help, and you're within 500 miles, you go to him.

in the summer of 2008, i got in a car crash which landed me in the hospital/rehab for the entire summer. guess who the majority of my visitors were even with them living in the middle of ohio and me being in a hospital in pennsylvania?

Frats are dumb. Anyone who says otherwise is a teenager, or a troll. Also, frats don't help you get jobs. As a former member of 2, I can attest to this. I've actually had a couple of potential employers ask me of my association in a critical way, asking about my lifestyle, how much I drank, partied, etc. Yes, I met a few "good" friends, and got a little more tang due to my associations than I probably would have, but generally speaking, most of my former brothers epitomize the word "douche".

Its a badass experience. Theres something for you to do every day and night.

I went through the formal process and visited 12 frat houses, and these guys were the ones that were like me. So I chose them.
