Rockford T2 15's

Right now I have 2 15in T2's in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Each sub is getting about 900rms.

It hit 140db but I want to get louder.

What can I do differently or do I need to upgrade subs, to something like the FI n2?

Better subs and more power. Upgrade your electrical. High output alternator and a battery bank. If you just want a higher score tune the box higher. Do you have a good box cause that alone will make a good difference.

You are doing something wrong. I could get 140+ with one of those subs. If it is not hurting your ears on daily music, you will not meter well. If none of your passengers ever tapout when the bass hits, you'll probably meter low. What amp is it? Show a pic of the box.

t2's will get you higher than 140. you need a new enclosure

better subs on the same power will do much better and alos the right box. rf subs are horrid unless its a trf

all I do is music legal, they sound better than they get loud but they arn't crap. I wish I would have kept my motor would have made great sq sub

I didn't say they should be tapping out on 1800 watts. Maybe he needs more power, and I don't believe those those are seeing a true 900 watts a piece!? If powered right someone might tapout if they are not already deaf?

theyre all plastic. perform for crap and arent durable. theyre built like a 93 yr old woman. theyd b great if they were 200 new not 800

I am considering 1 18" fi n2 on 2500 watts. And i know the box for the t2s doesnt have enough airspace but i think they just arent getting the true 900 each...the amp is a hifonics brutus before they were cea certified.

put all the power and box space you want to a t2. its still just a happy meal toy

I'm not fond of the RF woofers but they are mich better than alot of stuff out there..

with 1800 you should beable the do 146 or so musically..

those woofers will handle 2kw per driver..

if you get a good 3kw and the correct box you should pull 148-149..

try using 7 cubes tuned to 36 with 90in^2 of port area..

Buddy of mine is rocking 2 t1 12s on a t1500bd and he's doing a 147 on burp and bassracing a 139.9.
