I haven't got this stuff yet, will this setup work fine or should I switch subs?
That amp is only 2 ohm stable. So the dual 4 sub would have been a better choice. I would definitely trade it in for the other version or your gonna be severely limiting the power that amp can send to it.

I sent a message to the seller, waiting for a reply. Guess I just assumed that a 2 ohm amp would go with a 2 ohm sub, don't totally understand all that. But now I know better.

Can someone please explain the ohm thing to me. I know to some of you it will seem really stupid but I dont understand it all. The power specs on this amp are:
RMS Power at 4 Ohms 175 W x 1
RMS Power at 2 Ohms 325 W x 1
So it is 2 Ohm stable but works better with a dual 4 ohm sub. Thanks in advance for the explanation. I will search around the site as well to figure it out on my own.

A DVC 2Ohm sub can be wired to 4ohms, and 1ohm. A DVC 4Ohm sub can be wired 8ohm and 2ohm. So the dual 4 would be your better choice to get the maximum potential out of your amplifier.

i have the same amp you have to and its not 1 ohm stable remember that!! but u should be ok with that 2 ohm subwoofer as long as u dont wire it to 1 ohm cause something will happen !!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
