I have 3 12in rockford punch hx2s in a sealed box and on a 1200w sony xplod i know i need to change the amp but is there anything else i can do to get the most out of my subs

best thing to do would be to sell one sub and the amp to get money for a good amp, run 2 of them in a ported box with a new quality amp and you're set

Welcome to the forum my brother. I agree with lex, sell one and your current amp. Get an amp that will put out 1000w RMS at your impedance ( punch hx2's came in d4's and d2's ) And port those bastages. Just like the other guys are saying get rid of one sub and the amp and port the box. I ran 3 RF HX2 12"s and they slammed with 500watts RMS to each... Amp was actually benched at over 1900watts!
