Rockford p3 subs

I came across someone selling two RF p3 15's that are basically brand new in the box for less than 200 for both. I am looking to get some bump in the escalade, are these subs even worth wasting my time? I am new to the SPL world. I am not looking to break any records but trying to get some bump for a good price. I know people will have their recommendations, spend 250 and get DD's or whatnot as I have seen in threads, but just curious if these are good for that price.

Would they work better in a sealed box? ported box? which would get the most out of these subs.

ported and if you are looking for a simple setup and the subs are already in the ideal box, it is not a bad deal.

I think I am gonna pass on these after more review of these subs...

I spoke more with the guy who had them and he said he had them up to a MBQuart RAA1000 and he only hit 138.9 with them in the trunk of a chrysler 300 so I imagine it wont be that much in the cab of a full size suv. But then again I am new to the spl world so putting numbers to bump is tricky.
