Rockford p210d2 sub questions...

Hey I just got this today and am gonna put it in my new car see sig. I have an alpine pdx2.150 to run it with. So amp is no problem 169x2 at 2 or 4 ohms. What type of enclosure should I do with this sub. I want it clean and loud if possible with this sub. I don't really know anything about rockford subs never owned one til today.

No offense bro. But that sub isn't really anything to brag about. Rockford's P series really went down hill. I recently had 1 P210 as well. After sending it in twice for warranty work (tinsel for VC came apart and the cone separated), I decided to give it to my bro. I would honestly look at using something else. If the sub is new, take it back a get something else. Just my .02 from personal experience.

will this sub just sound like poo or not get loud at all? I dont want anything that is too loud. those Rockford P series subs have low xmax too like 7 mm, i've had a 12" before and it got pretty loud but distorted really easy with a test tone and if you played music at a high volume. not a bad sub for the money though. my .02 experience with em

I agree with the fact that they bottom out easy. When I got mine, I didn't really research it. I got it on a whim. Wasn't to happy with it.

For what you can get them on ebay for, I think they are a good budget beater sub. Your not going to get good sq or spl out of them, but for the price they are what they are... A budget sub to put a little bass in the trunk. I do know from experience if you go sealed with the enclosure make it to the small end of the specs. It does have a little problem bottoming out and sounds empty if the enclosure is a tad to big. Also, my 2 cents worth.

Well I got all my stuff put in today finally!!

This is not a bad sub not much output at all may be my car though. It has good low fill in bass. Shakes the rear view a little. I am not disappointed I wiill run it for a while and score a RE or something like that.
