Rockford Fosgate vs Kicker, as a brand

Both are great companies. I am debating on going with a Kicker speaker and subs set up being powered by RF punch series amps..I already have 2 of the 3 I want amp wise.

i love rockford amps, the t series subs in general are great one friend has 2 t1s takin about 300rms each for now(way under powered) and they get fairly loud for that little power and are clean. other friend has a t2 also another great sub. kicker is also nice, i havent really been disappointed in either brand, however never heard either of the fullrange speakers yet.

On many of the recent RF amps you cant fully defeat the "Punch" EQ circuit, so you cant get a flat frequency response.

Many people like the "Punch" smiley face EQ sound, but its not good if you're aiming for sound quality.

Might not be great for the RTA but when I tune I always knock down the center frequencies anyway. If you set up your eq for SQ you always cut and dont boost.
