Rockford Fosgate vs Kicker, as a brand

I just had an argument with my friend about Fosgate vs. Kicker. I was saying that Fosgate has better speakers and he was saying that its a baseline brand, as in some cheap stuff, which that part I already know is bullshit. I'm curious as to how you would rate both brands overall?

In my opinion I think Fosgate has better amps and Kicker has better subs. thats just my opinion..he is right though about it being "baseline"..I wouldnt buy it..id go with Audioque or Sundown Electronics.

i wouldnt say rockford is baseline, and i have to say i do like the kicker subs over the RF.

i had both subs and amps i like kicker subs better and Rockford amps but always like kickers too since they were 2 ohm friendly

Both are good companys., and have good product support. I dont think you would could go wrong with either company.

I have owned numerious amps and speaker and subs from both companys. IMO the punch and is a little better than the kx series kicker. They both are really underrated ESP. the power series amps. I have seen a birthsheet on a bd1000 amp at 1600 watts. They are very much the same quality, I never had 1 problem with any Kicker or RF product. I dont understand why ppl knock them soooo much.

i run rockford amps and love them dont like kicker amps mainly because of the 2 ohm deal but they are still decent never liked kicker subs they just sound like farts to me love the t2 line rockford has

i dont like RF subs besides a TRF.

amps are great, power line.

Kickers CVX is only sub ill touch from them.

amps, 4ch, monos, etc i like them too.

imo they are both good but far from the best. but arnt the t2s good? thats the only sub that i would get from fosgate but i wouldnt buy kicker again, just cause i know their is better.

id rather have the high end rockford subs over the the high end kicker subs. plus i love RF amps, its a shame theyre so pricey.

I love RF amps, especially the power series amps. I'm a kicker fanboy, I love all their stuff. I'll take either brand
