Rockford Fosgate vs. Image Dynamics

I have the fosgate power series 6.5" speakers. sorry I don't have the exact name right now. Im looking at coaxials because they are going in my Jeep wrangler sound bar.

But how do the rockfords compare to the ID ctx 65 coaxials? Sound quality, tweeters harshness, mid bass, etc??

To me my rockfords lack in mid bass, have harsh tweeters and they are starting to sound staticky at high volumes.

What kind of power you running to them and are they on an amp?

Honestly I have no idea how many watts I'm running to each speaker. The amp is a Rockford Fosgate T600-4

i've put a few sets of the ctx6 in and they sound good. you said your lacking midbass, how is the sound bar set up?

Its factory. I have not put any deadner on it. The only thing added is that fluffy pillow case jute stuff.

Could the sound bars interior volume be to big? Should I get some of those baffle case things to set the speaker in?

i don't see it being too big i see it as maybe being too small. if it's what i'm picturing.

In the mean time, anyone else have a opinion on which is better sound quality, RF vs ID?

i guess id would have a better SQ

ID hands down has better SQ then RF. but alot of it does involve the installation of the speaker. if your working in a very lil air space the midbass response won't be as prominent as it would like say in a door.
