I would go with RF on either. While they are not what they use to be in the day, they are still better than Hifonics.

RF amps, from my experience are more reliable than Hifonics. Also RF actually does their rated power, Hifonics does close to their rated power but usually a little under.

Subs, I would go with neither, but between the 2 I would say RF.

i would take neither one if it was made after 2000 or so. ive had a brutus 1600 and used it on 2 l7 12's and it was booty. swapped with a kx1200.1 and you could here an audible difference. even though i was happy with my bx1500 a few years back, hifonics makes some bs equipment that will not last.

and i wouldnt mess with none of rockfords new hsit either. jmo

most retarded thing i have ever heard in my life are you serious? are you new to car audio? please tell me you are? it scares me there is a person out there this crazy..fosgate makes some of the best amps out there you wana talk about under rated..i have never had any problems with punch amps nor have my friends or anyone else that i know that runs them..punch is your $700 an hour escort and hifonics is your crenshaw $15 hooker..plain and simple.
