Rockford Fosgate rookie. HELP???

Here's the skinny. Rockford Fosgate system pro-install in my Malibu boat. PEQ Remote to P-500 AMP...then to the sub. My blue light on the PEQ remote worked originally....but not any more. The remote still controls the sub volume just fine but no light anymore to tell me it is on. The dealer says I cannot just replace the PEQ remote and that the amp is the problem. Does this make sense to anyone??? Kind of picky but......you know.

Please help.

this happened on a friends rockford amp... and u can deal with it lol or order a replacement remote for about $20 bucks+ shipping on http://www.sonicelectronix.com/

if you bought it from the dealer, tell them to let you borrow one and see if it works
