Rockford fosgate reference amp?

Is there such a thing, someone was telling me about it and i have never heard or seen one. I am looking for specs on it.

well, someone i know just let me listen to his system and he has diamond d6 comps (75 rms) and a 50x2 rockford reference series amp and it was as loud or louder than my diamond hex's which are double the power of his. He then said that the amp he uses is more like triple the rated power and that is why he is as loud. I really need some info on these things.
