Only RF head units I'd personally touch are the Denon-made ones.

RFX-8240 and RFX-8250Ti

To me, everything else is cheap junk.

I had the RFX 8240 takeabao mentioned and absolutely loved it. The 8240 & 8250 are rebadged Denons. Look great and sound great. They are deadheads though, with no fancy built-in options like EQ/xovers/time alignment/etc.

From what I'm told, the earlier RF HU's were built by AC Delco and were pretty solid headunits aswell.

I wouldn't touch anything from their recent lineups, however.

My goodness. I can remember back when they released their very first HU. It was very colorful and they touted it having what would be comparable to a Punch 10 amp in it. They also bragged it up to be "unskippable".

Well, needless to say they forgot one thing. Quality. It was a POS and they got alot of them in for repairs.
