i think their first cd was badass. very good.

second cd was ok.

faceless i liked for a while.

but just change my musical preference so i'm not into alot of bands i used to like.

I've heard only one song from the new CD. IMO same old godsmack. Not really taking chances with their style.

So true. Godsmack follows the AC/DC formula of never straying too far from their original sound and put out roughly the same album every few years.

I love this CD compared to Tool's new album. Godsmack went above and beyond their last CD, where Tool seemed to put a whole new gothic-esque spin on their music, which I don't like.

I love how acoustic'y (is that a word? LOL) the new Godsmack album is though. I've played it through a few times and #1 is still my favorite track.

Yeah and ACDC is considered one of the greatest of all time. So I guess your saying Godsmack will be like that 20 years from now? I think not and I like godsmack, just no one could ever be like ACDC.
