How much port area should a 12" have in a ported box? The website says 20sq. in. but I was thinking more like 30 or so? What is the driver displacement? This is for daily driver, with SQL.

How much port area should a 12" have in a ported box? The website says 20sq. in. but I was thinking more like 30 or so? What is the driver displacement? This is for daily driver, with SQL.

I would not go any lower than a 4 inch aeroport, not 4 inch pvc but the flared aeroport. You can obviously go larger but I would not go any lower. 30 inches will work fine and 20 will as well.

Wouldn't a slot port work as well?

Driver displacement is .18 cF, it's on the site. 20 sq. in. is the minumum. So 30 would be fine. And yes, slot ports work too.
