RL-p vs. 3000spl

Stick with the RL-P. It has good sound quality especially compared to the crap i saw at the car meet earlier today.

Well the 3000SPL supposedly has great SQ, but not enough people actually have the sub to get alot opinions like the RL-P (which is really popular on here). I just know the majority of people on here care less about output and more about SQ. I definitely do want my bass to sound good, so I don't mind spending a little money on it, but I am looking for alot of output. I was going for an L7 but I wouldn't really have enough room for it to shine.

The 3000spl has very good SQ and it gets very loud... I use to have one.

The rl-p is supossed to be a great sub too but i have never used it.

Um...isn't your enclosure way bigger than what Pioneer recommends? Like twice as big?

Pioneer has them listed to use a max of 1.75cu ft per sub. You are giving each 3 cu ft. Pretty big difference. Just wondering if thats why yours might be louder and possibly lose alot of SQ.

manufacturers can "reccomend" all they want. Come listen if you dont beleive me

these subs get loud and sound good in lots of boxes
