Rl-i vs. Diamond D6 12"

How do you guys think an Rl-i 12" will do against a Diamond D6 12"?

Here are some specs:

M6mkII 12" is the same as D6.

I'm sure the rl-i will have better SQ, but which will have better output using a 1000.1 and possibly a 1500.1 amp

Yeah they are. I wanted to get a rl-i 12", but went with a D6 instead because they were discontinued. Nothing installed yet but I had a Diamond m5 12" back in 1999 and I was impressed with its sound quality enough to go with Diamond again

i can get the rl-i 12s for pretty much the same price as the d6's, just seein how much output they actually have. xmax is more on the rl-i but i know its not the only factor.

Diamond D6 will sh!t on the RP-I....seriously.... The RL-P is better than the RE SE...SQ wise about the same, but alot louder SPL wise.

D6 > RL-i12 - much is due to the lack of it being sold anymore

D6 = RL-p - would be a close toss up IMHO.

RL-p > RE SE - no brainer.

RE SE = RL-i12 - Also very close

oh wow.. didnt think the d6 will be so close to the rl-p.. which one do you think is better in output and which in sq? if its possible to tell.

Hmmmm I was really thinking about getting an rl-i until I noticed this thread. hmmmmmm Ill have to check out the specs on both.
