Passed away this morning, she was 13. They think it was a heart attack caused by old age. I grew up with this dog. Not really looking for sympathy, just needing to vent somewhere.

This was the other dog I grew up with; he passed away about a year and ahalf ago.

people act like they are replacable.......but they so arent.....its family.....

Pets aren't replaceable. Especially when you have them that long. I had a dog (Pit-Boxer mix) for over 10 years. She just died last year. It was like losing a brother or sister. Never can be replaced. They have their own personalities and moods, just like people.

Once again, sorry for the loss.

Agreed, my chihuahua died randomly at teh kennel in February. Was very sad and still miss her. We have a new chihuahua now and it is very similar, same temperment and everything, but is definitely not the same.

That sucks man. My Black Lab/Rotweiler is 14. I've had him since the summer after grade 8. He is definately showing his age these days. It's going to be a sad one when I'm in your position.

It was pretty obvious the lab was dying; kind of like an elderly person that is in and out of hospitals and ends up in a hospice the last days of life.

The boxer has been in very good shape, happy, playful, etc. It just kinda came out of no where.

meh, it's just a dog.
Your comments used to warrant some sort of reply.. But now that I know your a 5'7" fatass 33 year old that can't even make it 2 miles, your words just have no meaning anymore.

To the OP, really sorry for the passing. My oldest dog is getting up there and I worry about her all the time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
