That right there is the main reason I will be voting for him when the elections come around. Some of your past presidents would be more worried about public opinion and politics when Bush knows what needs to be done and dose it. That is my opinion, I think Bush is the perfict man for the job, he is still human and makes mistakes but for the most part I think he is on of the best presidents we have had...I know there are a lot of people out there who will dissagree with what I have said but they have the right to do so...Bush tends to think with his heart and not with is head...sometimes that can be a good thing but many times it can be bad.
Well...I don't want to get into the arguement of "America shouldn't have been there in the first place."Well, America should have never invaded Iraq in the first place ... Of course, now the country is in chaos and the US Military is basically the only enforcement in the country, so pulling out now may not be the best idea, mostly because an anti-american government would most likely take power.
I know what you mean, Dustin. I figured you'd understand the baseball one.
But then there's the other side that says why did we fly bombs into buildings when we knew there were innocent civillians in them, just because we 'thought' there might be a small chance of an enemy being in there?
War is a crappy thing. Period. It's hard to understand, and doesn't make sense.

The problem is that everyone is so affraid of being politicly correct they are afraid of there own shadow. I agree with you completely (in the first part were you said we don't know how to fight, not the rest), we should not worry about what other countrys think of us. Most of them hate us anywas so we should go in and get the job done. Who gives a crap what the liberal ******* over in the UN says or cares. We just need to go over there and get our military off the UN leash and let them do there job. Many of the people who have died and who will die would not have if we would just let the military do its job. Once again just my opinion...If we knew how to fight a war I assure you this stuff would stop. But we don't know how to fight a war and that's why I say we pull out and become the true passive nation that we are.
Not if that "leader" was a psychpathic dictator who killed thousands of innoscent people and tortured countless others.Let's say some foreign nation who you were at war with a decade ago invades your country, kills your leader along with many other (mostly innocent) people, then intends to completely overhaul everything about your country. You're telling me you wouldn't be the least bit resistive ?
I totally disagree. Bush is worried about public opinion and is worried about getting re-elected and that is part of the reason why this war is being fought like we're just trying to gently stop a riot. That right there is the main reason I will be voting for him when the elections come around. Some of your past presidents would be more worried about public opinion and politics when Bush knows what needs to be done and dose it. Except we're trying to fight a neat, clean, painless war which is impossible. Which is hurting us.I'm kind of with Gauntlet. It's war. People die. Enemies retaliate. Just cause this one incident was caught on tape, what about the thousands of other incidents of Iraqis killing Americans and Vice Versa? What did we do when they got Sadam's two sons? It was all over the media...
I totally agree. neat, clean, and painless don't belong in the sentence with the word war.Except we're trying to fight a neat, clean, painless war which is impossible. Which is hurting us.
You have to fight a dirty war back that is so dirty that they don't dare ever think of doing anything to the US. You have to go after their mother father daughter everything that they have any value for. You have to make them realize they are going up against someone with so much power that they have no chance at all of achieving anything but sorrow if they attack. But that's inhuman, that's what the definition of war was in the past. So as I have said we need to pull out become the true passive pu**y nation we are and attempt to minimize the amount of yearly deaths in america from terrorism.I totally agree. neat, clean, and painless don't belong in the sentence with the word war.
War would not be a war if both sides did not fight. There is no such thing as a one-sided "war". We suffer losses just as they do. Of course since I'm American, I'd want America to prevail, but this "war" does not make sense to me. Even the "war" on terrorism. How they hell can you fight terrorism??? It only sparks more terrorism!
...as do they and the retaliation process never ends, even if a war is "technically" over. You have to fight a dirty war back that is so dirty that they don't dare ever think of doing anything to the US.
