what does backspace mean on rims? id like to buy some american racing outlaw 2s for my blazer and i was wondering what it meant, also, it says -19 mm offset, would that make the tires stick out at all? because id like my tires to noticablely stick out the side a lil bit, thanks

if you like those rims, check out the weld stone crushers. they look 10x better with the cone caps instead of the ones they show on the website. the cone ones are on the mountain crushers. also a cool rim, just thought that you might like that distinct style.

infiniti if you are looking at a site where you pick your car and the rims are made for you car the back spacing should be correct..... back spacing is the distance that the wheel is to the inner fender well. you want to keep a proper amount of distance so your tire doesnt rub.

i believe offset is the lug pattern find out what your current offset is on your rims and find the rims that can be replaced otherwise you may have a set of rims that dont fit.

backspacing is the measurement from the mounting pad of the wheels, the part that contacts the brake rotor, to a straight line across the diameter of the wheel on the inside lip. offset is the measurement of how far away from center of the wheel width the mounting pad is.

hopefully that made sense

if you have positive offset, the wheels will tuck more. nagative and the wheels will start to stick out past the fender. so to answer your question, yes those wheels will stick out.
