Righting the racial wrongs?

This country was founded on slavery. Everyone owned slaved, from Presidents to Preists. Slavery is wrong, and all people should be treated equally.

Hundreds of years ago, we captured millions of Africans against their will, and brought them to our country, forcing them to be our slaves. This is an unforgivable act, and I think we should do what we can to make things right.

Im sorry we kidnapped you and took you from you homeland. It was a horrible move and should have never been done. The idea of owning a person makes me sick.

Either way, they were taken from their homes and their families. How would you feel if someone took you from your home/family and sent you to another continent to work as a slave? It would be horrible. Wouldnt you want to be sent back to your homeland?
